OUR APPROACH & METHODOLOGY | 10%u25cf efficiency of back-up system: to ensure that the Client%u2019s security systems have sufficient back-upto withstand any emergency situation.%u25cf stand-off distance: create a stand-off distance between the asset and the threat so as tomaximize protectionThe Client and SAS will then develop a suitable SLA based on the operation design to ensure a smoothhand-over and effective roll-out of the security management solution.Deployment of Personnel and EquipmentAfter due medical, criminal, regulatory and integrity vetting, uniformed and adequately resourced securitypersonnel will be deployed to key nodes of the operating area, as per the assessment.They will act as authorized officers in terms of the Control of Access to Public Premises and Vehicles Act,1985(Act 53 of 1985). They will record incidents/events in an occurrence register and report such incidents/events to the Security Supervisor and/or Security Services Manager.Where necessary, the security personnel will liaise with SAPS in line with the Criminal procedure Act 51 of1977. They will also be governed by the Health & Safety Act 1993 (Act No. 85 of 1993) and Regulations.SAS will also provide all the necessary security equipment required to improve, enhance and expandphysical and electronic security systems and equipment across the entire operation.
